Chromecast is the official Google application for the service of the same name, which lets you send the image from the screen of your Android device (whether you're looking at photos, playing games, or watching videos on YouTube) to the TV the Chromecast device is connected to.

Setting up Chromecast is so, so simple that you really have to do almost nothing. You just have to choose which device you want to connect (normally you'll have just one) and share the same WiFi network.

Once the Chromecast app is configured, a touch on the screen of the Android device will be enough to beam the image to the TV. This way you can play certain Android games as if you were playing on a proper console.
