Check out new Gmail Features which can help you ease your daily tasks

As a part of Google's attempt to constantly upgrade G Suite Pack of which Gmail is a part, this time Google has added new features and updates in its free email service, Gmail.

Here are the new Gmail features to help you manage Gmail in a more safer, smarter and efficient way to ease your tasks.

Proritize Gmail Inbox

Gmail offers four ways to sort your inbox in addition to displaying them in chronological order by default.

Important first - Gmail predicts most important emails if you repeatedly receive emails from a specific sender and reply to those emails. These emails are marked as important. You can even flag emails as important and Gmail remembers to mark them each time.

Unread first - This sorting keeps all unread emails so that you don't miss even a single email.

Starred first - Emails marked with star to prioritize are always at first.

Priority Inbox - This way of sorting emails is automated and Gmail prioritizes your emails based on your daily email interactions and categorizes under "Important and Unread", "Starred" and "Everything else".

You can anytime change these options as per preference by clicking on the drop-down arrow on the Inbox in the left navigation bar.

Turn on categories

By enabling categories, emails will be sorted into five sub-inboxes, "Primary" for personal messages, "Promotions" for marketing offers and deals, "Social" for emails from social networks, "Updates" for bills, statements etc and "Forums" for discussion boards and mailing lists.

To enable this feature, remember to select Default Inbox style and click the gear icon to select Configure Inbox and enable the tabs you want to use in Gmail and save the selections.

Manage your to-do list and calendar

You can keep note of your daily to-do tasks by clicking the drop-down arrow in the top left corner of Gmail Inbox and selecting Tasks.

You can even keep a reminder of the task and it will be automatically added to your Google Calendar and a reminder message will be sent at the particular time

Professional address

You can now customize your email address from name @gmail.com to [email protected] but only available at 50$ per year for businesses which subscribe Google Apps for Business Also, Google will give permission for using new email address only after you prove that you own the domain name.

Multiple Inboxes from one Gmail account

You can easily switch between multiple addresses from a single account by navigating to Account tab under Gmail settings and clicking on "check mail from other accounts". Gmail will then automatically fetch emails from that account but these fetched messages can be read or replied to from only your primary email account.
