YouTube Music and YouTube Premium launched in the US and 16 other countries

YouTube Music, a new music streaming service made for music: official songs, albums, thousands of playlists and artist radio plus YouTube's tremendous catalog of remixes, live performances, covers and music videos that you can't find anywhere else is now officially launched in 17 countries, the US, Australia, New Zealand, Mexico, South Korea, Austria, Canada, Finland, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Norway, Russia, Spain, Sweden, and the UK.

Google Play Music will be completely replaced by YouTube Music and will be the only music service from Google.
YouTube Music has thousands of playlists, the official versions of millions of songs, albums, artist radio and more, in addition to all the music videos people expect from YouTube.

With YouTube Music you can effortlessly discover new music on YouTube Music's personalized home screen dynamically adapting to provide recommendations based on people's listening history, where they are and what they're doing.
You can easily find the right playlist for any moment, be it recommending music to relax before a flight when you are at the airport.

To enjoy an ad-free experience with background listening and downloads, Google also launched YouTube Music Premium, a paid membership for $9.99 a month.

YouTube Premium, previously known as YouTube Red and different from YouTube Music Premium is also available now. In a monthly price of $11.99, it offers YouTube Music services including ad-free experience, background play, and downloads across millions of videos on YouTube.
