Now let Gmail write an email for you using Smart Compose feature announced at Google I/O, 2018

At Google I/O annual developers conference 2018 held at California, Google announced a new smart Gmail feature, Smart Compose. As the name suggests, Smart Compose uses machine learning to offer phrases and suggestions to complete a sentence as the user starts writing an email.

All you need to do is just start typing first few words and Smart Compose feature will suggest rest of the words and phrases to finish your sentence.
If you want to go with the predictive phrase, just hit tab and let your new AI friend save you from grammatical errors and at the same time, cut short your repetitive writing.

According to Google in its blog post, "Over the next few weeks, Smart Compose will appear in the new Gmail for consumers and will be made available for G Suite customers in the workplace in the coming months."
Google also stated, "Since Smart Compose provides predictions on a per-keystroke basis, it must respond ideally within 100ms for the user not to notice any delays."

Regular users can switch to new Gmail by simply clicking on the Settings cog in the top-right corner, then selecting "Try the new Gmail" option.

Additionally, to access features that are still under development, enable "experimental access" under General tab in Settings.
