Often holding the power and volume down button together at the same time to capture a screenshot in your Android phone seems like a less sophisticated way. Taking screenshots this way using keys combinations often turns the screen off, or turn the volume down and finally after few tries, a screenshot get captured.
Different devices provide many other ways to take screenshots. Some phones use a combination of power button and home button. Samsung phones, for example, let you perform a palm-swipe gesture to trigger a screenshot. They also offer extra functionality, such as the ability to perform an extended screenshot (Scroll capture).
Finally, with Android P, Google has introduced an easy way to take screenshots by using power menu.
Screenshot button can now be found in the power menu. All you need to do is press the power button and tap on the screenshot button without trying any key combinations.
